OUTREACH CENTER OF CENTRAL FLORIDA VOUCHERS

Wings of Eagles International, Inc, has developed an exclusive voucher program. It has always been our belief that God established the local church to make disciples (Ephesians 4: 11-16) and these disciples should be trained to do the work of the ministry. James 1:27 tells us that a pure lifestyle and helping orphans and widows is what Christianity is all about.

The vouchers are tools to be used by people within the church to help people in need. Most churches or individuals do not have the resources to house items like furniture. This is where The Outreach Center of Central Florida comes in. We have the furniture, you (the Body of Christ) find the people in need. You use the tool of the voucher to help the family. As you become the agent that sends them help, they will look to you (the church) as though their help came from you, as it did.  This is our strategy - that churches use us a warehouse of goods to be distributed to the needy the church is reaching out to.

It’s very simple. We accumulate donations for you, and then distribute them to families each according to their need. (Acts 4:32-37) We become the warehouse. We also provide the service to make this happen. When a voucher is issued we visit the home and assess and fill the need, pray with the family or individual, then refer them to your church for further discipleship training.

Our voucher system has become very popular among outreach churches and many community service organizations. To date we have helped over 10,000 families in the Greater Lakeland Area.

  
 

VOUCHERS FOR CHURCHES

Any church may apply for our exclusive vouchers through membership with The Outreach Center of Central Florida, Inc., It is a simple process. Simply call our office (863-665-7700) and request an application. The Outreach Center of Central Florida, Inc. requires all organizations who join to come to our facility and take a tour. The benefits are innumerable. Your church or organization and the members will have immediate access to a host of retail items available online or in our warehouse at a fraction of retail cost.

Membership in the voucher program cost $200.00 per year. This gives your church access to furniture to be given to families in need free.

Upon approval you will be issued a predetermined number of vouchers. Additional vouchers will issued as needed as you help people in need.

WHERE TO GET A VOUCHER

If you are an individual or family in need of help, we strongly encourage you to attend your local church. Many churches in the area have our vouchers and are ready and willing to help you. It is our firm belief that your help comes from the Lord.  
Psalm 46:1  “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.” So it is fitting, if you are in need, turn to God first. He is our Source for everything, (see Matthew 6:25-34).

If your local church does not have vouchers simply ask the pastor to contact us. There is an application and approval process. (Click on “Vouchers for Churches”)
If you do not have a church home, click on “Churches with Vouchers” for a list of churches in the area. We encourage you to call the church during the week and ask about the voucher assistance program. Tell them you need help and let them know you will attend the next service.

There are also a large number of community service organizations that have our vouchers. These organizations help needy families as part of their ongoing service. If you are a client of one of these organizations they may issue you a voucher provided you qualify for their assistance. A list of these organizations may be obtained by calling the United Way of Central Florida, Inc.

DO I QUALIFY FOR HELP?

After you receive a voucher, you must call the Outreach Center of Central Florida, Inc. and schedule a “home visit”.
Home visits are done as a part of the approval process of ALL families or individuals who request help regardless of the organization who issued the voucher.

The Outreach Center Of Central Florida, Inc. makes every effort to insure that everyone who request help is truly in need. To qualify, the following items are taken into consideration:

  • Size of family or number of persons living in home
  • Income of ALL persons in the home
  • Ability and/or desire to work and continue to support a household after assistance is given.
  • Special circumstances like sickness, home fire, injury, income loss, etc.
  • Reasons for income loss must be verifiable
Because of the many different circumstances ALL applications are considered on an individual basis. The Outreach Center of Central Florida, Inc, was established to HELP PEOPLE. This is why we exist. However, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whom it is determined does not have a legitimate need. All legitimate needs will receive help regardless of race or religion - or any other reason.
